Shawna completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at UBC Okanagan, graduating in 2010. She spent the majority of her career in emergency nursing, including several years at Royal Columbian Hospital. In 2020, she transitioned to Primary Care at Westgate Medical Clinic, where she focuses on health promotion, prevention, and building strong relationships with patients to support their overall well-being.
Outside of work, Shawna enjoys spending time with her children, camping with her family, and hosting BBQs with friends.
